THE THREE QUESTIONS


There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.
When
he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any
expert who could answer his 3 questions. Finally, his parents were able to
find
a Muslim scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala )'s slaves and insha-Allah
(God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man : Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to
answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala ).
Young Man: I have 3 questions:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is takdir (fate)?
3. If shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end he will be
thrown to hell that also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him
at
all, since Shaitan (Devil) and the hell were created from fire. Did God
not
think of it this far?
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.
Young Man (feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.
Young Man: I really don't understand.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.
Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without
being able to see His shape.
Scholar: Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me, today?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: That is takdir (fate).
Scholar: My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?
Young Man: It is created from skin.
Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?
Young Man: Skin.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: In pain.
Scholar: Even though Shaitan (Devil) and also the hell were created from
the
fire, if Allah wants, insha-Allah (God willing), the hell will become a
very
painful place for Shaitan (Devil).

Asalaam-u-Alikum, please read the story below which is true. It brought tears into my eyes . Hope you like it.

The Power of Prayers

Muniba, a young Muslim university student, was home for the summer. She had gone to visit some sisters one evening & the time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than she had planned.

Evening came & Muniba had to walk home alone, but she wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Muniba asked "God" to keep her safe from harm & danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley, she noticed a man standing at the end, as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy & began to pray, asking for "God's" protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness & security wrapped around her; she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man & arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the paper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley, just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy & the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety & to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a line up to see if she could identify him.
She agreed & immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down & confessed.
The officer thanked Muniba for her bravery & asked if there was anything they could do for her, she asked if they would ask the man one question.
Muniba was curious as to why he had not attacked her.
When the policeman asked him he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men wearing white cloths walking on either side of her."

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF PRAYER!
He, who loses money, loses much
He, who loses a friend, loses much more
He, who loses FAITH, loses ALL.

When death knocked upon a bedroom door,

Who is there? The sleeping one cried.
I'm Malkul Mawt, let me inside.

At once, the man began to shiver,
As one sweating in deadly fever,

He shouted to his sleeping wife,
Don't let him take away my life.

Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet.

My family on me depends,
Give me a chance, O please prepense!

The angel knocked again and again,
Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,

Tis your soul Allah requires,
I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry,
O Angel I'm so afraid to die,

I'll give you gold and be your slave,
Don't send me to the unlit grave.

Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said,
Open the door; get up from your bed,

If you do not allow me in,
I will walk through it, like a Jinn.

The man held a gun in his right hand,
Ready to defy the Angel's stand.

I'll point my gun, towards your head,
You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead.

By now the Angel was in the room,
Saying, O Friend! Prepare for you doom.

Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh.

Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
To die according to Allah's plan?

Come smile at me, do not be grim,
Be Happy to return to Him.

O Angel! I bow my head in shame,
I had no time to take Allah's Name.

From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,
Not even caring for my health.

Allah's command I never obeyed,
Nor five times a day I ever prayed.

A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,
But no time had I to repent.

The Hajj was already FARD on me,
But I would not part with my money.

All charities I did ignore,
Taking usury more and more.

Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine,
With flirting women I sat to dine.

O Angel! I appeal to you,
Spare my life for a year or two.

The Laws of Quran I will obey,
I'll begin SALAT this very day.

My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,
And keep away from self-conceit.

I will refrain from usury,
And give all my wealth to charity,

Wine and wenches I will detest,
Allah's oneness I will attest.
We Angels do what Allah demands,
We cannot go against His commands.

Death is ordained for everyone,
Father, mother, daughter or son.

I'm afraid this moment is your last,
Now be reminded, of your past,

I do understand your fears,
But it is now too late for tears.

You lived in this world, two score and more,
Never did you, your people adore.

Your parents, you did not obey,
Hungry beggars, you turned away.

Your two ill-gotten, female offspring,
In nightclubs, for livelihood they sing.

Instead of making more Muslims,
You made your children non-Muslims.

You ignored the Mua'dhins' Adhaan,
Nor did you read the Holy Quran.

Breaking promises all your life,
Backbiting friends, and causing strife.

From hoarded goods, great profits you made,
And your poor workers, you underpaid.

Horses and cards were your leisure,
Moneymaking was your pleasure.

You ate vitamins and grew more fat,
With the very sick, you never sat.

A pint of blood you never gave,
Which could a little baby save?

O Human, you have done enough wrong,
You bought good properties for a song.

When the farmers appealed to you,
You did not have mercy, tis true.

Paradise for you? I cannot tell,
Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.

There is no time for you to repent,
I'll take your soul for which I am sent.

The ending however, is very sad,
Eventually the man became mad

With a cry, he jumped out of bed,
And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader! Take moral from here,
You never know, your end may be near

Change your living and make amends
For heaven, on your deeds depends.

Enes Ibn Malik reports that a Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah and greeted him in the mosque.
The Messenger of Allah asked him where did he come from. The Bedouin said:
"I came from far seeking answers to some questions".
Our master told him to ask his questions":

I wish to be an intelligent man, what should I do?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Fear Allah".

I wish to be a loyal servant to Allah and do what He wants me to do?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Read the Qur'an."

I wish to be enlightened and have peace of heart?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Remember Death".

I wish to be protected against enemies?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Trust in Allah".

I wish to follow the Straight Path?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Do good to others for Allah's sake".

What should I do so that Allah does not abase me?
Holy Prophet Replied, " Do not respond to the desires of your flesh".

I wish to have a long life?

How can I save myself from the hellfire?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Protect your eyes and your tongue and
your hands and what is below your waistline against evil".

How can I cleanse myself from my sins?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Shed tears for what you have
done and repent by undoing what you have done wrong".

I wish to be a respectable person?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Then, don't ask for anything from anybody".

I wish to be honorable?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Then don't divulge the wrong doings of anybody".

What should I do to protect myself from the tortures of the grave?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Recite the Surah Mulk".

What should one do to be rich?
Holy Prophet Replied, "Read the Surah Muzammil".

How should I calm my fear of the day of last judgment?
Holy Prophet Replied,"Remember Allah before you eat anything and before you sleep".

What should I do to feel the presence of Allah when I make my prayers?
Holy Prophet Replied,"Give the utmost care in taking your ablutions and in being clean and pure.

1. God does exist. his shape it us, any animals that you meet, the trees the sky, the grass, God is NATURE.
2. There is no fate, if there was fate then we would not have free will. If fate existed then that would mean that God is just some puppet master, pulling our stings, telling us what to do. That would mean then, that God is at fault for our sins, and everything that goes wrong in the world. And that is just not so.
3. The devil is not made of fire and hell is not eaither. the idea of fire is just a way to scare people form hell, but really it is just some place that people who disobey god go.

Could you please tell me that the written text by you is all your idea or you have read them somewhere. If you have read it in any books, plz write the reference fort that , Or Please write any Hadith or Aayat to proof your statement. Honestly telling , I do not agree with what is said. If I write regarding Fate the Qadria and Jabria beliefs, it will take pages, therefore I really want to know the idea of other prestigious members of this team in this regard first.

i think its better to use our logic than believing in hadith or anything else.. and why do u believe in hadith? is it proved that every hadith is right?

no but the sahih hadith are all proved to be right :)

umm there is this story about muslim (ra) who wanted to ask a man for hadith when he was colllecting them
he saw the man and saw that this man was a farmer, this farmer was acting as if he had some food for the horses in his hands and the horses came and saw that there wasn't any food
so Muslim thought "sail ko, ayn haspaa ra drogh mega, azaar meta, bar ma chuto waqehat bugoya?!" so he didnt ask this man about muhammad saw'S words...

Thats not a logical reason, but anyways, our prophet pbuh has banned others from writing his words. Thats what amaizes me, how can we follow him if we don't follow him ;)
I asked one scholar and he said, hadis are meant to be for personal use, never use them in your arguments cause they can be false or fictition (spelling?) before accepting some word as hadis check if its logical or not, if logical then do it and if not then don't do it.

I asked for Hadith and Ayat for the reason that whatever is proved to be right by Ayats of the holy Quran and Sahih Hadith (Said by both Bukhari and Muslim Sharif ) is acceptable by all Muslims. And I believe that Ayats and Hadiths are better than using our logic as we might not have such vast knowledge about Islam and the hereafter.

Once, a group of people were travelling on rocks at night. A voice came from the sky that whosoever picks up the rocks will regret and whosoever doesn't pick up the rocks will regret. Now, the people were confused. How can this be ? Whether you pick up the rocks or not, you will regret !

Anyway, some people picked up the rocksand some didn't. In the morning when they reached up their homes, they saw that the rocks turned into diamonds !:o Now, those people who didn't pick up the rocks started regretting,:rant: saying - "If only we had picked up some rocks." And those people who did pick up some rocks also started regretting,:( saying - "If only we had picked up some more rocks." ! Both sides ended up regretting.

Dears, this same incident will indeed take place with us on the Day of Judgement. Those people who spent their time in useless activities will start regretting by looking at those who achieved a great position in Paradise by spending their time well in ways that pleases LORD. And as for those who did
achieve a position in Paradise will also start regretting by looking at those who did a lot more than them and are even in higher in status. "Allas ! if we had only done more to please LORD."

Lion, Rats, Snake & the Honeycomb...???
Once a man saw in his dream, that a lion was chasing him. The man ran to a tree, climbed on to it and sat on a branch. He looked down and saw that the lion was still there waiting for him.

The man then looked to his side where the branch he was sitting on was attached to the tree and saw that two rats were circling around and eating the branch. One rat was black and the other one was white. The branch would fall on the ground very soon.

The man then looked below again with fear and discovered that a big black snake had come and settled directly under him. The snake opened its mouth right under the man so that he will fall into it.

The man then looked up to see if there was anything that he could hold on to. He saw another branch with a honeycomb. Drops of honey were falling from it. The man wanted to taste one of the drops. So, he put his tongue out and tasted one of the fallen drops of honey. The honey was amazing in taste. So, he wanted to taste another drop. As he did, he got lost into the sweetness of the honey.

Meanwhile, he forgot about the two rats eating his branch away, the lion on the ground and the snake that is sitting right under him.

After a while, he woke up from his sleep.

To get the meaning behind this dream, the man went to a pious scholar of Islam. The scholar said "The lion you saw is your death. It always chases you and goes where ever you go. The two rats, one black and one white, are the night and the day. Black one is the night and the white one is the day. They circle around, coming one after another, to eat your time as they take you closer to death. The big black snake with a dark mouth is your grave. It's there, just waiting for you to fall into it.

The honeycomb is this world and the sweet honey is the luxuries of this world. We like to taste a drop of the luxuries of this world but it's very sweet. Then we taste another drop and yet another.

Meanwhile, we get lost into it and we forget about our time, we forget about our death and we forget about our graves."

THE KIND AND THE POOR MAN
There was a king who decided to take a tour of his country. As he passed by different places, everyone rushed to see him. However, while passing by a certain place, he noticed a poor old man who did not pay any attention to the king's arrival and remained engaged in his own activities. The king went up to this poor man and asked why he did not join the people to see him. The poor man replied, "Before you, there was another king who once passed by this place. Everyone gathered to see him as well. But, few days later he died and was buried in a place nearby. A poor man also died during that time and was buried near the king's grave. After some time, a strong flood passed through that area causing those graves to overturn. As a result, the bones of the poor man became mixed up with those of the king's. We could not differentiate between them any longer. After seeing this, it does not matter to me anymore as to who is a king and who is a beggar. In the end, "OUR HOME IS THE SAME !"

Ha , To write you the name of the book that I promised. It is "MIHWAR" by Students of Peshawar University. They might also collected the stories from different sources that I do not know, but I read most of them in the named book.

ANOTHER THREE QUESTIONS !

There was once a man who was an enemy to Islam. He had three famous questions that no person could answer. No Islamic scholar in Baghdad could answer his three questions...thus he made fun of Islam in public. He constantly ridiculed Islam and the Muslims. One day a small boy, who`s age was 10, came along and heard the man yelling and screaming at Muslims in the street. He was challenging people openly to answer the three questions.
The boy stood quietly and watched. He then decided that he would challenge the man. He walked up and told the man, "I will accept your challenge".

The man laughed at the boy and ridiculed the Muslims even more by saying, "A ten year old boy challenges me. Is this all you people have to offer!"

But the boy patiently reiterated his stance. He would challenge the man, and with Allah`s help and guidance, he would put this to an end. The man finally accepted.

The entire city gathered around a small "hill" where open addresses were usually made. The man climbed to the top, and in a loud voice asked his first question.

"What is your God doing right now?"

The small boy thought for a little while and then told the man to climb down the hill and to allow him to go up in order to address the question.

The man says "What? You want me to come down?"

The boy says, "Yes. I need to reply, right?"

The man made his way down and the small boy, age 10, with his little feet made his way up.

This small child`s reply was "Oh Allah Almighty! You be my witness in front of all these people. You have just willed that a Kafir be brought down to a low level, and that a Muslim be brought to a high level!"

The crowd cheered and screamed "Takbir"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!"

The man was humiliated, but he boldly asked his Second question... "What existed before your God?"

The small child thought and thought.

Then he asked the man to count backwards. "Count from 10 backwards."

The man counted..."10, 9 ,8 , 7 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,0"

The boy asked, "What comes before 0 ?"

The man: "I don`t know...nothing."

The boy: "Exactly. Nothing was before Allah, for He is eternal and absolute."

The crowd cheered again...."Takbir!"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!!"

The man, now completely frustrated, asked his final question. "In which direction is your Allah facing?"

The boy thought and thought.

He then asked for a candle. A candle was brought to him. The blessed child handed it to the man and asked him to light it.

The man did so and remarked, "What is this supposed to prove?"

The young boy asked, "In which direction is light from the candle going?"

The man responded, "It is going in all directions."

The boy: "You have answered your own question. Allah`s light (noor) goes in all directions. He is everywhere. There is no where that He cannot be found.

An idiot may be the name given to the ordinary man, who consistently misinterprets what happens to him, what he does, or what is brought about by others. He does this so completely plausibly that - for himself and his peers - large areas of life and thought seem logical and true.
An idiot of this kind was sent one day with a pitcher to a wise man, to collect some wine.
On the way the idiot, through his own heedlessness, smashed the jar against a rock.
When he arrived at the house of the wise man, he presented him with the handle of the pitcher, and said:

Two Traveling Angels

Keep reading to the bottom of the page -- don't stop at the feet (You'll see).

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family.

The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room.
Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement.
As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.
When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife.
After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest.
When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears.
Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen?

The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused.
The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.
"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the Wall.

Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

"Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead.

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every out come is always to your advantage. You just might not know it until some time later...

The Miser and the Angel of Death

A miser had accumulated, by effort, trade and lending, three hunderd thousand dinars. He had lands and buildings, and all kinds of wealth. He then decided that he would spend a year in enjoyment, living comfortably, and then decide as what his future should be.

But, almost as soon as he had stopped amassing money the Angel of Death appeared before him, to take his life away.

The miser tried, by every argument which he could muster, to dissuade the Angel, who seemed, however, adament. Then the man said: "Grant me but three more days and I will give you one-third of my possessions."

The angel refused, and pulled again at the miser's life, tugging to take it away.

Then the man said:

"If you only allow me two more days on earth, I will give you two hundred thousand dinars from my store."

But the Angel would not listen to him. And the Angel even refused to give the man a solitary extra day for all his three hundred thousand pieces.

The the miser said:

"Please, then, give me just time enough to write one little thing down."

This time the Angel allowed him this single concession, and the man wrote, with his own blood:

"Man, make use of your life. I could not buy one hour for three hundred thousand dinars. Make sure that you realize the value of your time."
