What do you guys think? I think his last 3 albums all contain the same type of songs, good but repetitive.

wahid is one of the best and will alway remain as such no matter what he choses to sing...but i agree with you there omie...his Iman cd was very similar...i think he is aiming more at ghazal albums from here on end...he's getting kind of older now...so i guess its cool that he is getting humble...even though i know that if he were to continue singing his upbeat songs as he always has...he would sound just as great ;)

Oh he definately is one of the greatest (except for one song)...no doubt there, but as we all agree, he is singing sort of all slow songs and you said it...he is getting old and slower and ghazal type of songs is a good choice.

But we have to remember, his master songs are beautiful :)

Compared to the junk coming out today, (ie eshparis and qaderis whatever they call themselves.) his CD is pretty decent. All ghazals are great..most lyrics by Bedil Sahib which itself is a plus point ;) He knows how to sing, and what to sing..so all the best to him!
