The promoter of Darya's concert in London (27th of August, 2002) who illegally recorded the entire show by unprofessional cameras is now publicizing the release of this videotape in the market. Farhad Darya's official attorney in London, besides he took a legal action against this fraud and robbery, he has sent a letter to all stores and sources through out the world that deal with Afghan music not to market and promote this product.

Since this is obvious harm and damage to Darya's works, he would like to enlighten all his fans regarding the illegality of this videotape and its poor quality.

This so-called company is known as "New Look 2000", and is located in London, UK.


[ By the way ... I have a concert of Wajia Rastagar on vcd, and in one part you can see the commercial of this illegal tape. I was happy to know that another one of Farhad`s live concerts would be out on the media but this was an illegal action. They show Farhad singing Gul Zaman`s song "Tora Shpa" and 2 of his own songs but I haven`t heared anything about the release yet ... I also emailed Farhad Darya himself but he told me that the tape wasn`t out and that it probably wouldn`t be released ... so if someone has more info about this ... please tell me .... ThnX:)]

Yes you are right ... but because he is THAT good of a singer ... it is VERY tempting to actually buy that video tape ... He doesn`t release many albums or concert tapes lately ... and I respect him more than anything but I think that it would be impossible for me to NOT buy the cd ... what a dilemma .. :)

really? how sweet of him, but as much as i know Qader Eshpari is a good shaher as well, he says most of his song's poems by himself, and maybe Farhad Darya will do compose for him. any way best of luck for both of them including me:)
