Habib qaderi in my opinion is one of the best if not the best afghan singer out there today. I hear that his concerts are very enjoyable but i also heard that in his last concert in SJ there was a huge brawl and alot of people were arrested. That they're wern't proper security there either to protect the audience. Knowing that afghan people tend to gossip alot and exaggerate things I was wondering if anyone can clarify this.

You both are entitled as with anyone to opinions and such when it comes to Habib because he's an artist and in this culture and age when an individual gets into public arts and presents themselves to society in a celebrity role, they give everyone the right to make judgements. I'm certain he's smart enough to realize that and enjoys what he does either way and all the best to him...

What's pathetic however is the level of passion and lack of respect in some fans or people that don't appreciate his craft, so in this case, when your entire reply is judgement on a person you've never met and expressing it so emotionally as if you're Habib yourself and took offense to what was said is pointless and meaningless. If I or someone think he's ugly, that's our opinion as beauty is in the eye of the beholder... don't reply with omg, you're butt ugly too, LOL, like duuuuuh, rather something more respectable that shows you're the better one, maybe along the lines of:

"Sis, you're entitled to your opinion, I like him, you don't. I don't judge nor did judge your affection for him as a fan or family nor will, but all artists or celebrities like any other roles in society get the fan support as well as criticism just by nature. All I asked was for all that apply (and they can figure out whom this applies to when they sit down and think about it in a calm fashion) to be expressing their opinions and such in a respectful and smart manner.

No matter how many times you say, are you BLIND? he's gorgeous, won't make anyone like him more, however a calm educative opinion will make them at least listen better and maybe then they won't make such stereotypical commentary.

And just to add to that... when someone criticises, they don't need to be better as that defeats the matter of opinions, as everyone would be amazing and great because everyone is original in their own ways. Not even other artists would be able to criticise as even then there would be people that hate them and say Habib is better as a result they can't criticise.

In the eye of the public, people enable all others to just by nature pass judgements, and that's fine, so long as judgements are productive and with reasoning. Even if it be them thinking the person in focus is ugly or beautiful. Their opinion does not mean the artist does suck, rather shows their sense of beauty.
