But the reason I asked about this Authority issues such non sense singer of the year awards is because in every concert I attend, some moron gets up and says that this singer is voted singer of the year.

But this doesnt say anything about them giving him the award. These people were just there and from what i can gather there is no freaking way that ustad Khyal would give this type of an award. AS far as the other artists, i hardly call them artists or hunarmands. I dont even know most of these people. For example:

Kabir Howida.....he is not a singer or anything...he plays great piano and sets up music.

sima tarana....are you kidding me? The only reason people know here is because of her make up.....hardly an artist, well a make up artist mabye.

Khalil Ragheb....who is this guy? I hardly think that 2 percent of afghans know this guy

Zakia Kohazad.....she is an ANNOUNCER..not an artist.

Ustaad mawash...with all due respect to her, she is no ustaad...if Lata M is not considered an ustaad then I do not know who is. The only reason they give her this title was because she begged for it. Again, she is great..but even she will tell you that she is no ustaad.....plus Zheela Khanom sings way better than her.


Now I understand that you are a big fan of his and no doubt that he is talented. The problem is that he has no respect and these awards do not mean anything because as i said before, every concert you go, there is an award.

If there is an orginaztion with members like Ustad Khyal, Ustad taranasaaz, Ustad Zaland and they actuall review artists and give them an award, then that is very credible because these guys are legends and they are the ones who have made afghan music what it is. But if bunch no names like Khalil rahgib or sima trana is considered artists, then man we are in trouble.

wouldn't hurt to learn some basic common manners, i.e. treating others with respect, esp being a gentleman when talking to ladies, no matter what your opininions be, and no this doesn't mean with guys be an idiot without concern either

Ustaad mawash...with all due respect to her, she is no ustaad...if Lata M is not considered an ustaad then I do not know who is. The only reason they give her this title was because she begged for it. Again, she is great..but even she will tell you that she is no ustaad.....plus Zheela Khanom sings way better than her.


Now I understand that you are a big fan of his and no doubt that he is talented. The problem is that he has no respect and these awards do not mean anything because as i said before, every concert you go, there is an award.

If there is an orginaztion with members like Ustad Khyal, Ustad taranasaaz, Ustad Zaland and they actuall review artists and give them an award, then that is very credible because these guys are legends and they are the ones who have made afghan music what it is. But if bunch no names like Khalil rahgib or sima trana is considered artists, then man we are in trouble.

One thing we have to know is this, i am kind proud of this new afghan singer who are mostly young our age, we have to know that most of the poeple who live away from afghanistan they forget their language, their culture, their religion everything, but this guys create lyrics, make music, and staying afghani.

the problem is this singers, like Habib qaderi, qader e ashpari, Eshan and etc etc etc they are not serious singer compared to Wahid e Qasimi, Faiz e Karezy, Faraad Darya etc etc etc

and I am sure only young people like to listen to this new singers, and most of the time there is absolutly nothing on their lyric, so basic and meaningless, a keyboard with same beat dang dong dang dish :D, i dont call it music, if you want to listen to good singer go listen to Nashenas every single words of wisdom, Ustad Sarahang, Hashim etc etc etc
