Are we judging by influence?

Are we judging by popularity ( note that just because a singer is popular does not make him or her the best ever)?


Many aspects must be satisfied before we can say according to these items, this particular singer is the best ever.

That is very tough to do

Well, if the question is that who the best singer is or was, so I think it is obviously Ustand Sarahang....... He is the best ever singer that Afghanistan ever had and we have to be proud of him.

But, if the quesion is whom I like the most, so I will surely say: Ahmad Wali, then Nashenas...... that's all for me.

sarferaz i will never end up going to a concert of, for me all that matters is how he sounds on his album(s)...and i think he has a beautiful voice for pukhto songs

i liked her till she left Peshawar cause u know somebody wanted to kill her and her family so she left for Dubai but her father was killed

She is not a Paki rather she is a pure afghan born in Pakhtoonkhwa.

Just because she was born in Pakistan does not mean she is paki.

We live in west always call our self afghan even though we were born here , so why are we calling her paki not afghan.


as for singing , i guess she is ok with some of the songs

well we have and had alot of best singers. we sometimes think that indians are the most talanted people in music but we dont count our singers. they have faced many obsticles to become singers and most of them are in the list of best singers. i count our singers in three generations.
the first genration of our singers were singers like
ustad sarhan

zahir howyda
ahamd walid and hangama
these are the best onces the second genration best singers are

wajia farid rastagar
