One thing is so sad, is this, anyone oppose usa in afghanistan, they will be labelled taliban, and people hated taliban so much that, they don't want to even joint them together to kick out american, that was planned by america to keep afghan divided, i believe it will be for the better of afghanistan, if taliban were never exiting in the first place, so someone else could stand up and then every body could joint them and kick american out, now people are even happy to be under the rule of american, rather than having taliban back, me personally, i get happy when i hear american soldier dying in afghanistan and i get sad when i heard, they killed taliban, since those so labelled taliban are not taliban, they are regular people standing to kick america out, but they call them taliban, and people dont give dam about it if they get killed or not.

It's true that Pakistan's goverment has meddled in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. But, the vast majority of Pakistan's people are nice and great Muslims. They are our Muslim brothers. We shouldnt curse them. Infact, that is what U.S and India wants. They want to see Muslims divided and want to see us fight with eachother.

The chances of Mujahideen humilating the Americans in Afghanistan are very slim. America will not leave Afghanistan until the Taleban are gone, I don't think American or any European country want a repeat of September 11 in their nation. I hope more troops do get deployed to Afghanistan to finish the remains of the Taleban so Afghans can finally begin a fresh start to their lives.

You talk about being a "non-Afghan", what has the real Afghan that you claim to have done for Afghanistan, starting from the Amanullah Khan, Hafizullah Amin, Tarakai, Najib, they have shown in the history to be traitors, selling the nation for their own reasons and bringing Soviets to rule over them. How many Pashtoon, I mean "real Afghan" leaders were waving the Russian flag and dancing "Attan" all over the Afghan stadium in the arrival of the Russians and the fact that Afghanistan was to become another communist nation. i agree with farhad wror.. talibs are more dangerous to them pakis then karzai or any one else.. when talibs get the power then the talibs from pashtunistan, baluchistan and fata will also be empowered.. they will have a government in afghanistan supporting them to fight musharaf and his regime.. they will make the so called muslim pakistan a REAL ISLAMIC STATE which besharaf doesn't want..

thats what paki writes at a forum... this is the sort of attitude they carry obout Afghanistan, but when they are talked to face to face all of a sudden they switche to be our muslim brothers!

I believe that Afghanistan should be developed, economically forward and politically stable; however that Afghanistan should be part of Pakistan, otherwise it will cause Pakistan LOTS of problems in the future. If Pakistan took control of Afghanistan and started to develop it, we could disperse or spread our already growing population over greater distances. Such a move should help solve our crowding problem as well as give Pakistan much needed strategic depth by having a more wider country. Finally, Afghanistan would also be Pakistan's link to Central Asia; and having Afghanistan under strong Pakistani rule with the Afghan people supporting it will ensure that India cannot surround Pakistan.

However we shouldn't even touch Afghanistan if we are planning to install a carbon copy of Taliban and not even bother to make Afghanistan a better place. What we need to do for the long-term benefit of Pakistan is to get rid of the foreigners in Afghanistan, annex it, develop it properly, disperse our population into Afghanistan and Baluchistan and get the complete support of the Afghan people.

First of all. No such thing as Somalian okay. Somalia is the country the ppl are known as Somali and they speak the Somali language. Its offensive to be called a Somalian. Its likes you being called Afghanian. Comprendo.?

Since I am only half Somali and my somali is limited neverthekess I have no heard of Jibba Jibba unless you mean Jubba which is a region in Somali. Do you have Somali freinds????

hOWEVER I plan to marry a Somali man I consider myself a bit more Somali than an Arab since I have been raised with them.

It seems like the force that wants to enforce Sharia law are gaining more popularity in Somalia as they are advancing on a puppet government set by the U.S...this is a big concern to the U.S and if the Mujahideen succeed, a big blow to Washington's effort to control almost every part of the world.

Somalis learn to follow the law

Fear of a good lashing or having one's head shaved is keeping drivers in Somalia's capital on the straight and narrow.

A few months ago, Mogadishu's chaotic roads were ruled by red-eyed, open-shirted militia, speeding along in their technicals - the open vehicles with anti-aircraft guns mounted on the back - weaving from one side to the other to avoid the potholes.

Today, one of the world's most dangerous cities has been tamed: law-abiding men and women motor along without a gun at their side, keeping steadily to the speed limit, and not daring to swerve for craters.

This transformation is down to the rule of the Union of Islamic Courts (UIC), which took control of Mogadishu in June and much of southern Somalia since then.

They have imposed Sharia law and are at lengths to show that no-one, no matter their clan or influence, is above God's law.

Trials are swift and punishments public: publicity is their policeman.

Shareef - I have yet to see the movie. I have seen bits here and there but thats all. The music in that movie wasnt even Somali. The actors were Sudanese with horrible Somali accents I couldnt even understand them and that has nothing to do with the fact I am half-Somali, I had to rely on the sub-titles. Anyways I am not into war movies. Blood and guns make me shiver.

I dont respect anybody who likes the taleban. How can anyone like them when they go to a busy market and blow up inncocent people, and i was there when they took over kabul and horrifying things that they did. I cant wait for every single taleban and alqaida member to be gone, because thats the only way we can get US to leave afghanistan and start rebuilding our beloved country. i hate people like farhad who is sitting in toronto enjoying their freedom and supporting the taleban, but i bet he has never seen a taleban in real life, i bet he would hate them if he was in afghanistan at the time when the taleban were in power, and also dont bash the northern alliance for defending afghanistan and never letting the russians fully conquer. if it wasnt for the northern alliance, u would be using russian alphabet like they do in tajikistan.
