Afghan Girl

Her body splendours, young and tender
Fragile heart of mine, to her beauty surrendered
Afghan angel took a glimpsed at me from a distance
With her eyes gleaming, my heart’s pace started
Racing with joy wildly, at that given instance
Problem is
My wealth and existence is so trivial
Compared to other guys flattering her
One can tell how rich she is just
Glance at her snakeskin shoes & collar’s fur
I am just a random afghan struggling with life
Baffled with poverty and the oppressors might
Outcome
Inferno is eccentric contemplating suicidal thoughts
Is it worth using the glock for a single shot?
Or shall I just put up with my heartache, ready or not
All I can think of is being subdued by the Mighty Lord
Lord please resurrect sanity in my distorted mind
You are Lord of heavens and earth show me signs
Bestow your grace on this feeble life of mine
