Farhad sang a new song title MOTHER in his last concert. Does this CD include that song as well or no??? I heard it was a beautiful song and brand new one as well. :hip:

If you call this a waste ... either you don`t know good Afghan music or you are just deaf :D... but in Europe it will cost about 7 euro for the cd and 10 for the dvd ... in the usa and canada they are more expensive ... and adresses ... sorry ...dunno .. I don`t live in Canada

Some how I have this personal problem with him (Ahmad Wali). Ever since he and his wife (Hangama) broke up I started hating him.... I know he sings ok but I can’t stand the man. They were the cutest couple and some how I always looked at them having a fairy tale life.... he ruined everything. I still listen to their Dogana songs other than that.... NOP. :afro:

Copying is a norm when it comes to afghan musicians. I mean back in afghanistan, it was pretty much accepted. If you listen to many tunes of a. zahir, a. wali and other " amature" singers back in the days, majority of their tunes and composes were copied. When it comes to hangoma, she was and still is worthless...lol..no offense.

Yes you are right ... the last few years everyone is copying music from each other and everytime someone releases a cd .. you hear the same songs and a keyboard playing all the music.. That`s why I take F. Darya as a serious singer ... shure there are a few others who are also good .. but it may take long before Darya releases a cd .. but at least he creates NEW songs with NEW lyrics and NEW composes. If it wasn`t for F. Darya, singers like Qader Eshpari and Parasto wouldn`t be singing right now cause he creates all the songs for them ... The rest of the singers are like doggies waiting for someone to dig a new bone ... so they can lick it as well .... :blah: :rock:

Farhad darya is a creative singer:D i like him.. and yeah our other singers like ahmad wali.. haider salim.. wahid qasimi are also good.. specially wahid qasimi's last album Faith made me a big fan of him.. also haider salim's last album is a good one.. Farhad darya's last album Sallam afghanistan wasnt really a good one compared to FAITH..

I am honored to be one of those musicians lol...just a joke. Awa Music, your make a good argument but your direction is misleading. First and foremost, Ahamd wali's time has past-- I dont mean this as an insult. What I mean is that Ahamd wali's 40 plus years of singing should not be judged based on what a current trend of music. If you look at the past, Ahamd wali or Ahamd zahir or other singers of their time, were deeply influenced by GREAT composers like Nainawaaz, Taranasaz, Ustad Hashem, Ustaad Zaland and others. You have to remember that past musicans used different styles of composes, much more indept as far as poetry and recitation. In today's standard of music, you do not have natural talent. You have more of entertaiment style of music. Be it good or bad, thats what people see as the horrizon of afghan music. Farhad Darya is to some degree a standard of todays generation.

But you gotta be realistic pal thier time is over, we dont live in Koche kharabat or shor bazaar to sit around and sip tea and listen to Ghazals and relax. For sure , Ahmad Wali and Haider Salim are much better then Farhad Darya. Most of Farhad Darys’s song doesn’t mean anything. E.g Bala sara day dogter, payan sara day dogtyer, or ba Kabul Jan ba Kabul jan salam, Afghanistan salam …., where is the shar in this song. If you want to compare Ahmad wali or Haider salim with Farhad Darya is a joke, Ahmad wali and haider are singer for people who know what music is and Farhad is for people who don’t know much.

i bought the cd back in 2003 (before *********** and ******* were big and u couldent steal music like you can now) it was really good but only 2 of the songs were new, the rest were from old cdies (my uncle was the rubab player in this cd :thumbup1: )
