Default Nice things I can say to my grandma

My dear sweet grandma from california is visiting our house, and while i speak farsi pretty well, i don't know a lot of common phrases for flattery and things of the such (intended for elders, of course).

please help me learn a few nice things to say here and there so that i can finally become both my grandmas' favorite grandson.. lol

    thanks everyone

Kiss her hands when you greet her, stand up when she walks into the room and offer her your chair, make sure her cup of tea is always full....

^ Yes, I do realize these aren't phrases, lol.

How about you start with, "khush amaden" and make sure you always use "shuma". Hmm, I hope that helps.....

Dulhan shoro shoda. Bia ki baret chai dam kadem o az Ariana Market sher peera awordem.

If she's like any of the grandmas I know, the aforementioned phrases will have her melting like butter on a hot summer day. (That's a good thing, btw).

The bold is what I would do if you want to be SUPER respectful. My parents were really big on this when we were growing up.

"Shoma" is too formal for me. I like "Khodet" because it's respectful yet affectionate. That's how I address everyone in the family. ^_^
