Meh. There's no choreography to speak of in this and the Indian clothes ruin it too. There's no comparison, you see ho hum routines like this at every darn wedding.

I agree, zaraafat is missing from their gestures, however, this is more a function of today's dancing music and its thumping rhythms. The music dictates the style of dance.

first video is from the Afghan dance in Mason (George Mason University!) they did a great job. (even though the came second to Pakistan).
Afsaneh dancers are not all Afghan i think..They just do a bunch of different dances..beautiful nonetheless.

Everyone's personal opinions about dancing or any of this stuff is their business---but these girls and boys actually do this for no other reason that pride in who they are.
Most of them are nice people from decent families.
Hope that noone disrespects other people's families with just one word for no other reason other than ignorance.
