i really love pekee ye arwalai or something like that by Baryalai samadi but i picked "daa ghroona ghroona afghanistan dai" cause it has nice beats to it and because it mentions almost all the provinces in afghanistan and what they are known for.

bibi_shereeni he's saying," goldsmith, make a golden taweez for laila jan" then he says something i didn't catch. then he says, " take this cash and make laila jan golden taweez, " then something i didn't catch again. then he says. i really have to go now cause it's almost midnight and i don't have time to listen to the song but basically what he's saying is what i wrote above.

There is a paktiawal song and at the moment i can't remember the song name:huh1: It has damn good music and is perfect for Attan. once i remember..i'll name it here.newayz..i vote for the "other" option.
Baryalai Samadi and Daud Hanif both sing the best Attan songs.
Daud Hanif gives more varitions to his songs, such as 6-10 step beats, however, I don't like his Pashto accent.
Baryalai Samadi's Zargarra Jor Krra is as cool as my "almost long hairstyle"
By the way, I could translate this song for you, but its a 20 minute long song, so might take a while...
I really like fast attan songs, and almost hate the Kabuli attan they play in weddings, it just gets on my nerves to see Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone doing attan to that, even girls with half naked clothes on. :huh1:

exactly well said about the kabulie attan. At my cousins wedding we just told the singer to play "pekee arwalai" on the CD player. IT's just that Farsi attan doesn't have that many beats to it and u clap every second and u don't have time to spin or take steps. i hope i am not confusing anyone.Originally posted by Omar

i call it the "plain attan" :rolleyes

However, I have much respect for this fella, he sings great, makes the best Attan songs and every Attanchi loves him.
