The problem with this question is that it generalizes all singers. Another problem is that anyone who likes a particular singer, thinks he or she is the best ever. The best singer ever, I think, should have the following criteria:

Are we judging a singer based on voice only?

Are we judging by compositions?

Are we judging by influence?

Are we judging by popularity ( note that just because a singer is popular does not make him or her the best ever)?


Many aspects must be satisfied before we can say according to these items, this particular singer is the best ever.

That is very tough to do

Well, if the question is that who the best singer is or was, so I think it is obviously Ustand Sarahang....... He is the best ever singer that Afghanistan ever had and we have to be proud of him.

But, if the quesion is whom I like the most, so I will surely say: Ahmad Wali, then Nashenas...... that's all for me.
